Jira export with custom fields

FLOWiGANTT is designed to export with safe defaults first, then enrich only when Jira allows extra fields for your project and issue type.

How default export works

  • Required Jira fields are sent first so exports can complete.
  • Optional fields (for example Story Points) are skipped if Jira does not allow them on create.
  • Export errors are translated into actionable guidance in the modal.

If your Jira project blocks export

  1. Open Jira project settings and check the Create issue screen.
  2. Add required custom fields to the create screen if needed.
  3. Ensure your selected issue type (Story/Task/Sub-task) is available.
  4. Re-run export from FLOWiGANTT after updating Jira config.
